First UK Design has developed a system to easily add or remove allowed SKY TV channels to view. Say a hospital, hotel or motel has 1,000 rooms and needs an, easy to use, Touch Screen Control Centre. Our program enables you to easily configure the number of beds or rooms etc and generate a table of "squares", each one representing a bed or room. We can include shared rooms or split arrangements. You can even emulate the bed or room layouts exactly as they are. The software can be programmed, by default, to allow SKY TV Channels 1 to 10 as free.
If a minor is in a bed, you can disallow a channel just by clicking or touching the relevant square. For example, a child is in Room 5 and you do not want them to watch channel 4. You just click R5, Channel 4 and the box changes colour from orange to green. At the same time the system is automatically instructed to disallow Channel 4 in Room 5. Each of the boxes are "live" and a click will change them from green to orange or from orange to green.
Orange in ON and green is OFF, or you can have the other way round.

Beds or rooms are easy to find, displayed or searched for, and then updated with the touch of a finger.
At the same time billing is automatically updated from the second a channel is activated or de-activated. Debit or Credit cards can be processed automatically to take payment.
The powerful back-office administration include cost per channel, room usage and pre-booking which can be automatically imported from an online booking form or spreadsheet. The software is designed to reduce data input or human intervention. It can even be activated by SMS mobile phone text message, phone or any electronic device.
We have already developed applications for table booking and room booking. We can manage and manipulate databases and spreadsheets. We can integrate payment gateways by Debit or Credit card and invoicing with, for example, SAGE Line 50. We can receive orders by SMS mobile phone text messaging and orders from mobile hand-held systems. We have also learned to communicate with telephone systems.
